BISHKEK (TCA) â On August 19, the Issyk-Kul 2014 Economic Forum completed its work at Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan. The forum was attended by representatives of government agencies, the business community and diplomatic missions of Kyrgyzstan, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Bangladesh. The participants discussed cooperation in the joint creation of a Silk Road Economic Belt. This initiative was launched by Chinese President Xi Jinping during his visit to Kazakhstan in September 2013. At the end of the forum, the participants signed a joint communiquĂ©.
