07/12/2011 - Over 550 illegal aliens are revealed in South Kazakhstan region

CA-NEWS (KZ) - The wide-scaled prophylactic event “Migrant”, conducted on November 28-December 3, revealed over 550 legal aliens in the South Kazakhstan region, the press service of regional Department of Internal Affairs said.

551 foreigners were revealed during the event, who are violators of the migration rules, so they were fined on the sum totaling about 4 million tenge ($ 27 thousand). 10 foreigners were withdrawn from the country due to the rude violations of the migration process. The administrative violations were presented to 292 foreigners.

Police opened the criminal case under the article 330-2 of the Criminal Code against the citizen of Kazakhstan due to the organization of illegal migration. 306 citizens of Kazakhstan were brought to the administrative proceedings because of various violations of the migration laws, they were fined totally for 1 million tenge ($6.8 thousand).

8 wanted criminals were arrested. The Uzbek citizen wanted for theft on the Motherland was caught. The other Uzbek citizen was arrested, as he was wanted in Uzbekistan due to recruiting people for the exploitation, the press service added.
