BISHKEK, July 12 (TCA) - Temir Sariev, minister of economy of Kyrgyzstan, proposes to create a National Council for Sustainable Development headed by president, Kabar informs.
According to the source, Sariev talked about it at the meeting with Alexander Avanesov, UNDP Permanent Representative in Kyrgyzstan. They discussed strategy of long-term sustainable development.
Kabar informs that the minister noted the need to lay mechanisms for long-term strategy for sustainable development - 2020, with the help of which economic growth will increase every year. He considers that it is necessary to conduct a thorough analysis, the study carried out with the assistance of highly skilled foreign professionals. In this regard, he instructed his staff to prepare an analytical report to the President of the KR to create a National Council for Sustainable Development.
Sariev and Avanesov expressed firm confidence discussion of topical issues of cooperation in the future will have a fruitful development.
