BISHKEK, April 2 (TCA) — The German MPs feel outrage by the fact that German police trained Kyrgyz intelligence the method of mobile spying, KyrTAG reported with reference to Spiegel.
According to the source, in 2008-2012 Federal police of Germany had provided Kyrgyz intelligence with trainings on spying citizens via their mobile phones and processing search requests on the Internet.
Along with this, German police provided the Kyrgyz State Committee on National Security (SCNS) with €73.2 thousand worth equipment: video monitoring system, scanners and Volkswagen Transporter minivan.
Disclosure of this information caused resent of some members of German Parliament, the source noted. In their opinion the SCNS could use this knowledge for spying the opposition.
