TASHKENT, April 4 (TCA) — Today, the Saudi Arabian Interior Ministry delegation headed by Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Huvereni and the Uzbek First Deputy Interior Minister Adham Ahmedboev have discussed strengthening cooperation in the fight against terrorism, extremism and crimes related to drug trafficking, UzA reported.

According to the source, the parties noted that cooperation based on the principles of mutual respect and trust between the countries has developed in the field of security, along with trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian areas.

The Saudi side expressed satisfaction with the work carried out in Uzbekistan to improve the work of law enforcement bodies, as well as interest in the development of cooperation with Uzbekistan in ensuring security and stability.

Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia have signed an agreement on cooperation in the fight against terrorism, organized crime, trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances as well as other types of crime.
