High-volatility period on Kazakhstan’s currency market is over — minister

ASTANA (TCA) — Banks in Kazakhstan have exhausted the possibilities to earn on fluctuations of the exchange rate of the national currency. They are interested in stabilization of the currency market, as it directly affects the financial situation of their borrowers and the quality of the banks’ loan portfolio, Kazakh Minister of National Economy Yerbolat Dosayev said in the parliament on December 28, Novosti-Kazakhstan news agency reported.
