Kazakhstan: Almaty may host UN hub to implement SDGs in Central Asia

ALMATY (TCA) — Cooperation with the UN remains priority direction of Kazakhstan's foreign policy from the first days of independence, Kazakhstan Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov said at the high-level meeting “Kazakhstan-UN: Experience, Achievements and Prospects for Cooperation" held in Almaty on February 16. The event was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the opening of the first United Nations office in Kazakhstan, the Kazakh Foreign Ministry reported.
