Tajikistan: USAID launches $12 million program to increase access to safe drinking water

DUSHANBE (TCA) — The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has announced a new five-year, $12 million USAID’s Rural Water Supply activity to provide more equitable access to safe drinking water in unserved and underserved communities in Tajikistan. Through this activity, at least 300,000 people in rural and suburban communities will gain access to safe water, the U.S. Embassy in Tajikistan said on September 21.
