EU and UNDP review the initiative on empowering Afghanistan women

NUR-SULTAN (TCA) — The European Union (EU) Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Sven-Olov Carlsson, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Resident Representative in Kazakhstan, Yakup Beris, and Special Representative of Kazakhstan’s President for Afghanistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Talgat Kaliev, met on January 22 to discuss a cross-border initiative on empowering and educating Afghan women, the Delegation of the European Union to Kazakhstan reported.
