Central Asia: Go Viral ‘goes viral’ with hybrid regional festival

NUR-SULTAN (TCA) — Registration for the 5th annual Go Viral Festival was launched on May 11. This year’s festival will take place in a hybrid format June 11-20: some events will take place in person in Almaty, Kazakhstan (Hide Park) as well as in Dushanbe, Tashkent, and Bishkek, based on local conditions. In addition, most of the workshops, keynotes, panel discussions and pitching sessions will be accessible online to everyone in Central Asia and worldwide via Go Viral’s YouTube channel, Facebook live, Zoom platforms, and the brand new Go Viral mobile application that will launch just before the festival, the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan said.
