Turkmenistan president orders to review constitution to re-restructure the authority of government agencies

ASHGABAT — The state information agency TDH reported that on March 1, President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov, who is also the chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh (the upper chamber of Turkmenistan’s Parliament), met with members of the Halk Maslahaty and instructed that the authority, rights and responsibilities of government bodies be reviewed when developing proposals designed to improve the Constitution.
