USAID supports drafting Entrepreneurship Code in Uzbekistan

TASHKENT — The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) together with the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan on September 7 organized a conference to share and discuss Uzbekistan’s draft Entrepreneurship Code. The new code, which was drafted with technical assistance from USAID, will make it easier for Uzbekistan’s entrepreneurs to start and grow businesses by reducing administrative burdens and creating a business environment friendly to investors, the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan said.
