USAID launches advanced entrepreneurship training for rural women in Uzbekistan

TASHKENT — The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) on September 16 announced an advanced entrepreneurship training program for 600 rural women. This initiative is part of a $3.4 million Women’s Economic Empowerment program that supports rural women in Uzbekistan by facilitating their engagement in the workforce as entrepreneurs and skilled employees. Training will begin on September 26, 2022, the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan said.
