TASHKENT, November 9 (TCA) — The Uzbek authorities canceled the court decision on nationalization of property of Russian telecommunication giant MTS’ Uzbek subsidiary Uzdunrobita and allowed the mobile operator to pay financial claims by installments, CA-News reported, citing MTS press-service.

The appellate panel of judges for criminal affairs of Tashkent city court considered the appeal of the Uzdunrobita, the subsidiary of Russia's MTS, against the ruling of the Tashkent city court for criminal affairs of September 17 against 4 workers of MTS-Uzbekistan, and canceled the first instance court ruling on nationalization of the property of Uzdunrobita on November 8.

The commission also determined the scope of financial claims for Uzdunrobita in the amount some $600 million with payment of this sum by installments within 8 months.

The appellate panel of judges also canceled the seizure of property of the company. The sentence against workers of the MTS-Uzbekistan was upheld.
