ASTANA, July 20 (CA-NEWS) - Kazakhstan may join the World Association of Police. Today, the founding conference of the Kazakh section of the International Police Association was held, which was attended by president of the association Michael Odisseos, transfers Tengrinews.kz.
According to Secretary General of the republican public association "International Police Association" Alexander Chaus, the Kazakhstan's Association has observer status in the World Police Officers Association, and the next year Kazakhstan will be eligible for membership in this organization in Copenhagen at the World Conference of Police.
The World Association was established in 1950 in the UK. After 5 years of its founding, the association has received international status in Paris.
