MOSCOW, Dec 22 (Interfax-AVN). The Collective Rapid Reaction Forces of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO KSOR) have been reinforced by the anti-drug units of the Organization's member states, CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha said.
"The presidents of the CSTO member states has approved a program for re-arming the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, the Collective Forces have been reinforced with the anti-drug units of the CSTO member states," Bordyuzha told journalists in Moscow on Tuesday after a meeting of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
It is very important that a decision was made at the meeting regarding the joint steps by the CSTO members in the event of man-caused and natural disasters, he said.
Bordyuzha praised the outcomes of the meeting.
