Kazakhstan developing fishing industry, fish farming

NUR-SULTAN (TCA) — Kazakhstan’s market of fish and fish products totals some 66 thousand tons a year, 45 thousand tons of which accounting for fishing and 7.4 thousand tons for fish farming. This was said at a meeting on the development of Kazakhstan’s fishing industry, held by Prime Minister Askar Mamin as part of his working trip to the Atyrau province on February 27, primeminister.kz reported.
