US, Uzbekistan to strengthen the quality of locally produced pharmaceuticals

TASHKENT (TCA) — The United States, through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and Uzbekistan, through the Ministry of Health Agency on Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry (Pharm Agency) on October 29 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to implement the “Promoting the Quality of Medicines Plus” program in Uzbekistan. Rebecca Black, Acting Mission Director for USAID in Uzbekistan, and Sardor Kariev, Director of the Pharm Agency, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective agencies, the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan said.
