US Embassy launches new project supporting Tajikistan’s Drug Control Agency

DUSHANBE — U.S. Embassy Dushanbe’s International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs section in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), on March 30 announced the launch of a new project, “Capacity Building of the Drug Control Agency of Tajikistan (DCA),” focused on enhancing the capacity of the Vetted Unit and Forensic Laboratory, as well as other departments and units of the DCA. The project is expected to last 24 months at a cost of $900,000, the embassy said.
