Uzbekistan: Beekeeping supports vulnerable communities in Aral Sea region

TASHKENT — United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) recently organized a handover ceremony in the Nukus district of Uzbekistan’s northwestern region of Karakalpakstan to transfer the necessary equipment for the development of beekeeping within the two Joint Programmes implemented in partnership with the UN agencies – UNFPA and FAO in Aral Sea region, UNDP Uzbekistan reported.
